Drone attack targets bomb disposal experts in Kharkiv region; one killed, several injured

According to preliminary reports, on June 7, near the village of Chystovodivka in the Izium district, police officers were responding to a call to neutralize a suspected explosive device—specifically, an unidentified type of drone that had not detonated.

While bomb disposal experts were working at the scene, an enemy UAV struck a law enforcement vehicle.
A police bomb disposal officer was killed instantly by the impact. Three other members of the unit and a civilian were injured. An investigative team, district department leaders, and other relevant services immediately arrived at the scene.

All the injured are receiving medical care.
Investigators are documenting the consequences of yet another war crime committed by Russian military personnel.
Information regarding this incident has been entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Part 2 of Article 438 (war crimes) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
As reported by Ukrinform, in the Hlukhiv community of Sumy region, the Russian army launched a targeted strike on a fire truck and shelled a fire station.
