"The Armed Forces of Ukraine on March 26 went to the territory of the Mars-75 navigation station and took it under protection. A military unit of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation had previously stationed there," the report reads.
According to the regional authorities, the Russian military have long left this site, and now at the station there are only civilians - Henichesk residents, who once worked there and until recently guarded it. Now, this mission will be carried out by the Ukrainian military.
The military started the inventory at the station, after which it is to be decided on the future use of the facility.
A reminder that the Mars-75 navigation system station in accordance with a decision of the Economic Court of Kherson region in the past decade should have been transferred to the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Ukraine - for the government agency DerzhHidroHrafia. However, the Russian military refused to carry out the decision of the Ukrainian court. Repeated attempts by the bailiff to go to the station were useless.
