Russia attacks energy infrastructure, causing emergency power cuts in several regions

Emergency power cuts have been introduced in a number of regions of Ukraine due to the Russian attack.

According to Ukrinform, the Ministry of Energy reported this in Telegram.

Russia is again attacking energy infrastructure. Because of this, emergency power cuts have been introduced in a number of regions of Ukraine, the report says.

“As soon as the security situation allows, rescuers and energy workers will begin to eliminate the consequences of the attack in order to restore power supply in the regions as soon as possible. Emergency power cuts will be canceled after the situation in the power system stabilizes,” the Ministry of Energy said.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russian troops launched a massive attack with strike drones and cruise missiles, and an air raid alert has been declared in most regions of Ukraine.
