In some regions of Ukraine, electricity consumption restrictions will be in effect on Monday, November 3.

Ukraine's national power grid operator Ukrenergo announced this in a post on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"The reason for the restrictions is the aftermath of massive Russian missile and drone attacks on energy facilities," the statement reads.

Hourly outage schedules will apply from 08:00 to 11:00 and 16:00 to 22:00, affecting 0.5 to 2 rotation groups.

Power limitation schedules will also be in place during the same hours for industrial consumers.

The company warned that the timing and extent of the restrictions might change and urged residents to monitor information on the official social media pages of local electricity providers.

Citizens are also encouraged to use electricity sparingly during the hours it is available according to the schedule.

As of Sunday, November 2, Russian attacks on energy facilities left some consumers in the Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions without electricity.
