In New York, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko met with U.S. business representatives and potential investors in Ukraine.

She announced this on her Telegram channel, according to Ukrinform.

“Today in New York, we held a meeting with American businesses. The investors began with a moment of solidarity with Ukraine following the tragic events in Kyiv,” Svyrydenko noted.

According to her, the conversation focused on key areas of partnership: defense, energy, mineral resources, and infrastructure.

The Prime Minister emphasized that more companies attended than expected, including Bank of America, Logistics Plus, GE Vernova, Parsons, Mastercard, J.P. Morgan, and others.

“Investors are seeing positive changes in Ukraine’s regulatory environment,” she said. “At the same time, we heard a call to more actively communicate Ukraine’s investment opportunities.”

She highlighted examples such as Kyivstar’s listing on Nasdaq as proof of Ukraine’s strong private sector.

“Next week, we plan to hold the inaugural meeting of the American-Ukrainian Fund’s board. We also expect a visit from the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) delegation to Ukraine in September,” she added, noting that this will be an important step for the fund’s operations.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, on Friday Svyrydenko met with the leadership of the Nasdaq Stock Exchange as part of her visit to New York and also spoke at a UN Security Council meeting.
