Over the next four days in Brussels, the delegations of Ukraine and the European Union will have extensive discussions on the free movement of goods.

Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and Minister of Justice of Ukraine Olga Stefanishyna announced this on X, Ukrinform reports.

“Opening the screening meeting, I reaffirmed Ukraine's commitment to accelerated integration based on the fulfillment of the obligations and conclusion of ACAA. Free movement of goods is not only a key foundation for our accession to the EU but a crucial element of Ukraine’s resilience,” she wrote.

She added that over the past decade, since the signing of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, significant progress has been made in adopting EU standards and norms.

“This work remains a top priority for Ukraine,” Stefanishyna stressed.

As reported by Ukrinform, the European Commission aims to open three clusters as part of Ukraine’s accession negotiations during Poland’s presidency in the first half of 2025: Fundamentals, Internal Market, and External Relations.
