In different months, from 500,000 to 700,000 tonnes of various products are exported from Ukraine through the Polish border.

"Actually, if we take all the exports that go through the Polish border, and a part of it stays in Poland and another part goes in transit, then in total, depending on the month, from 500,000 to 700,000 tonnes of various products are delivered from us," Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskyi said during a briefing at the Ukrinform news agency on Saturday, April 15.

In particular, grain, oil, sugar, eggs, meat, and other products are exported.

"If we are talking about the fact that these four crops [wheat, corn, rapeseed, sunflower] are not sold in Poland but are sold in transit, then, in our opinion, approximately 150,000-200,000 tonnes were sold in Poland at most per month of this of the total volume that I’ve just mentioned. With the simplification of transit, which we previously agreed on, and I hope that this agreement will remain in force, these volumes can be compensated to a significant extent by transit to Polish ports, or to the ports of other countries as well," the minister said.
