Over UAH 320M of financial assistance paid to residents of liberated territories

A total of UAH 323.7 million of financial assistance was paid to residents of the de-occupied territories of Ukraine over the past seven months.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, the financial assistance is paid as part of a joint project of the Ministry of Reintegration, Ukrposhta and international organizations.

"As of March 23, 2023, more than 155,000 citizens received a cash assistance of UAH 1,200 from the Red Cross Society of Ukraine in the de-occupied territories of Kharkiv, Kherson, Donetsk, Luhansk, and Mykolaiv regions," the ministry noted.

In addition, with the financial support of the International Organization for Migration, UAH 2,200 of assistance per month was paid to more than 39,000 people living in the liberated territories of Kharkiv, Kherson, and Donetsk regions. Each person receives such payments during three months.

As reported, the project of one-time financial assistance to residents of the de-occupied territories was launched in September 2022.
