Shmyhal: Potential of Ukrainian subsoil can reach $400 B in next 10 years

In the next ten years, the potential of Ukrainian subsoil may reach $400 billion.
"Yesterday, the memorandum on strategic partnership between Ukraine and the EU in the raw materials sector was signed with Vice-President of the European Commission Maroš Šefčovič. The potential of our subsoil may reach $400 billion in the next 10 years. And this potential must be fulfilled through new investment projects," Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said at the Cabinet’s meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
He reminded that the index of Ukraine’s investment attractiveness had increased from 2.4 to 2.84 since the beginning of 2021. According to the Prime Minister, boosting investment in the economy is one of the main projects the Government is working on.
