Deposits of individuals in Deposit Guarantee Fund’s banks grew by UAH 7.67B in October

"As of November 1, 2020, the total amount of deposits of individuals (including private entrepreneurs) in banks-members of the Deposit Guarantee Fund amounted to UAH 575.06 billion, which is UAH 7.67 billion more than as of October 1 of the current year (UAH 567.39 billion),” reads the report.

Out of the total deposits of individuals, hryvnia deposits totalled UAH 330.73 billion (up UAH 5.14 billion over the past month), and deposits in foreign currency amounted to UAH 244.33 billion (up UAH 2.53 billion over the past month).

Some 98.1% of the depositors have fully protected deposits (do not exceed UAH 200,000), which are subject to guarantees of the Fund. The total amount of these deposits is UAH 224.80 billion.

As of November 1, 2020, the share of private entrepreneurs in the structure of depositors was 3.2% and the total amount of their deposits - UAH 44.30 billion (7.7% of the total).

As reported, the total amount of deposits of individuals in banks-participants of the Deposit Guarantee Fund amounted to UAH 567.39 billion as of October 1, 2020.
