Zelensky: Ukraine to invest more than UAH 80 bln in road and bridge repairs

President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that more than UAH 80 billion will be invested in the repairs, construction and reconstruction of infrastructure facilities in Ukraine this year.
"Overall, more than [UAH] 80 billion is being invested in infrastructure projects this year," he said at a meeting with media representatives in Kirovohrad region on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
The president added that a “comprehensive program" for the repairs and construction of bridges is planned for the next year as well.
Zelensky also said he hopes that it will be possible to increase the volume of repairs of international roads by 1.5 times.
As Ukrinform reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky was on a working visit to Kirovohrad region on Thursday.
