5 MW solar power plant built in Sumy region

In the village of Kuyanivka, Bilopilsky district, Sumy region, at the expense of investors, LLC Ukrainian Energy Solutions 2018 built the first solar power plant in the region.
“The power plant has a total capacity of 5 MW. About EUR 5 million has been raised for its construction. Representatives of Ukraine and Georgia, and colleagues from Kazakhstan, Spain and China participated in the implementation of the project,” Director of LLC Ukrainian Energy Solutions 2018 Oleksandr Kabanov said at the opening of the facility.
The solar power plant will produce about 8,000 MW per year, which allows providing electricity to the entire Bilopilsky district.
The company plans to construct one more solar power plant in Kuyanivka, with a capacity of 17 MW. It will be launched in March 2020.
