NBU to conduct 45 inspections of banks in 2020

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) plans to carry out inspections in 45 banks in 2020, the press service of the central bank has reported.
"The list of financial institutions subject to scheduled inspections in 2020 includes 45 banks,” reads the report.
Also, from July 1, 2020, the SPLIT project, the National Bank will start on-site inspections of non-bank financial institutions in line with a schedule approved by the National Commission for the State Regulation of Financial Services Markets.
In 2019, the On-site Bank Inspection Department of the NBU conducted a total of 50 scheduled and 12 unscheduled inspections of banks.
