For more than three years, Ukraine has managed to save UAH 9.15 billion due to infrastructure tenders through the ProZorro procurement system.

This is evidenced by the data released on the website of the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine.

Since March 2015, when the trading through the ProZorro system has begun and until today, the greatest state savings was reached by the State Agency of Automobile Roads of Ukraine (Ukravtodor) – the agency saved UAH 4.5 billion. The railway industry ranked the second place with UAH 2.3 billion in savings, the sea and river transport – the third one with UAH 1.4 billion in savings.

JSC Ukrposhta and the aviation industry for this period saved UAH 514 million and UAH 140 million respectively.

The Infrastructure Ministry considered a record saving made at the tender for dredging operations in the Pivdenny Port, announced in November 2016. Thanks to considerable competition, it became possible to save over UAH 130 million.

Since August 1, 2016, trades through the ProZorro system have become mandatory for all state customers, the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine reminded.
