DTEK to invest UAH 110 mln into energy infrastructure of Donetsk region

DTEK Power Grid LLC, a subsidiary of DTEK LLC, will invest UAH 110 million into the energy infrastructure of Donetsk region in 2018, the company’s press service reports.

"The National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities (NCSREPU) approved the investment program of DTEK Power Grid LLC worth UAH 110.6 million for 2018," reads the report.

According to the company, the funds will be directed to the modernization of equipment, implementation of geographic information systems and reconstructions of substations, which will enable the company to improve the quality of energy supply in the region and make services more convenient for customers.

Within the investment program, DTEK Power Grid LLC intends to carry out a large-scale reconstruction of three high-voltage substations. The most significant of the projects is a comprehensive reconstruction of the Vuhledar substation (110 kV), which will enable the company to improve the energy supply to the city of Vuhledar.
