Ukravtodor: 600 km of roads already repaired this year

As of today, 600 km of roads in Ukraine have been repaired; the funds have been allocated from the state budget, credit resources, as well as proceeds from the overfulfilment of customs payments.
Head of the State Agency of Automobile Roads of Ukraine (Ukravtodor) Slawomir Nowak said this at a government meeting on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Today, August 18, is the middle of the construction season. We have repaired 600 km of roads throughout the country. The work is being carried out thanks to funding from various sources. 5.3 billion hryvnias were allocated from the state budget, 1.4 billion – from credit resources, and 3.2 billion of customs funds," Nowak said.
According to him, additional funding in the amount of UAH 800 million is also provided from the state budget for the Go Hightway project. More funds will be allocated for the eastern regions - UAH 200-250 million.
