NBU to improve procedure of maintaining register of audit firms

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has prepared draft amendments to the regulations on the procedure for maintaining a register of audit firms entitled to conduct financial audit of banks, the press service of the central bank reports.
In particular, draft amendments to the regulations provide for strengthening the requirements for audit firms, which are submitted to the register by the National Bank of Ukraine, and audit firm employees, who will participate in bank financial audit, as well as regulating the maintenance of the register.
