Finance Minister Danyliuk hopes PrivatBank to become example for other banks

Ukrainian Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk says he hopes that PrivatBank will continue qualitative work and become an example for other banks, including state-owned ones.
"Yesterday evening the procedure of transferring PrivatBank to state ownership was completed and the Finance Ministry is a shareholder from yesterday’s evening. Our task is to further develop the bank,” Danyliuk has said at a press briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
He noted that PrivatBank serves about 20 million customers across the country and they are expecting further bank's high-quality work.
"I’m confident that with such a team and with government’s support it will be the bank of a new quality and it will be an example for all other banks, including the state-owned ones, how to develop, how to improve quality customer service," said Danyliuk.
