PM Groysman: Ukraine emerges from pre-default state

Ukrinform
Ukraine has risen in the Fitch ranking, and it is a good sign showing we have emerged from a pre-default state.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said this at the Cabinet’s meeting on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We have risen in the Fitch ranking. In fact, we have emerged from a pre-default state, which the country was in for several years due to military aggression and failed economic policies," Groysman said.

He sees uplift in the ranking as a good signal.

"We have stabilized the situation over the last 2-2.5 years by means of unpopular steps," Groysman said.
