Ukraine, Canada sign free trade area agreement

The free trade area agreement between Ukraine and Canada was signed within the framework of the visit of Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau to Ukraine.

As an Ukrinform correspondent reports, the signing ceremony took place in the Presidential Administration in the presence of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

The document was signed by Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister, Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv and Canadian International Trade Minister Chrystia Freeland.
