Kyiv and Warsaw are discussing possible extension of vehicular and railway communication between the two countries, Ukrainian Ambassador to Poland Andriy Deschytsia has said.

According to him, a delegation of representatives of Ukravtodor and Ukrzaliznytsia, headed by Deputy Infrastructure Minister Mykola Snitko, has arrived in Warsaw.

“The Ukrainian delegation is discussing with Polish partners the development of vehicular and railway communication between Ukraine and Poland and the issue of permissions for the transit of vehicle transportation,” Deschytsia said, an Ukrinform correspondent in Poland reports.

According to him, the meetings are held at the infrastructure and construction ministry of Poland and at the Polish Office of Rail Transport.

Last week, Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Andriy Pyvovarsky informed that the Ukrainian delegation planned to visit Poland to discuss with Polish colleagues “the creation of new corridors in the Polish territory”.
