It is said in a statement by head of Economy Ministry’s department on public procurement reform, Oleksandr Starodubtsev, the text of which is available to Ukrinform.
“The team totally supports the reform of public procurement in Ukraine, and expresses support to Ukrainian Economy Minister Aivaras Abromavicius, his duties and, first of all, our head [Deputy Economy Minister] Maksym Nefyodov. We have come to power only with one aim – to prove that reforms in Ukraine are possible. Our values absolutely coincide. We continue working on our posts and pushing the reform, one out of not so many successfully developing reforms in Ukraine,” Starodubtsev said.
According to him, the process of reform could be halted without the minister’s team, but the team of the department on public procurement “is ready to fight to the bitter end”.
“Starodubtsev also stressed that this decision had been agreed with the whole team.
