Crimea needs 7-10 years to rebuild its dairy industry to the Ukrainian level.
Deputy "minister" for agriculture of the Peninsula told reporters, Ahraveri news agency reports.
The official said most of the raw materials for the industry were still delivered from mainland Ukraine.
"According to statistics data, 94 percent of the milk produced in Crimea are produced by households and only six percent - by agricultural companies. Our task is to tackle this disparity," he said.
