Yuriy Kolobov appointed as Finance Minister
KYIV, February 29 /UKRINFORM/. President Viktor Yanukovych has appointed Yuriy Kolobov as Ukraine's Finance Minister, reads the president's decree posted on the website of the head of state.
As UKRINFORM reported, Yuriy Kolobov in April 2010 was appointed the deputy chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), in November the same year - he was promoted to the NBU first deputy governor.
Before that he worked with Ukreximbank, acted as chairman of the Board of BTA Bank, director of the treasury at Oschadbank, adviser for banking matters with the KIBR finance company.
The Finance Minister's post became vacant February 22 as President Yanukovych appointed Valeriy Khoroshkovsky the first deputy prime minister, dismissing him from the post of Finance Minister.
