The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (SMM) has recorded Grad multiple rocket launchers, Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers, and tanks deployed in violation of withdrawal lines in the occupied Donetsk region.

According to an OSCE report dated August 17, a mini UAV spotted three multiple launch rocket systems (BM-21 Grad, 122mm), 17 tanks, three towed howitzers (2A65 Msta-B, 152mm), three self-propelled howitzers (2S1 Gvozdika, 122mm), and three probable towed mortars (type undetermined) in a training area near Pokrovka (36km east of Donetsk).

In addition, the SMM patrol detected a multiple launch rocket system (BM-21 Grad, 122mm) near Myrne (28km south-west of Luhansk) and a surface-to-air missile system (9K33 Osa) near Velyke Orikhove (27km east of Donetsk).

By these actions, the armed formations of the Russian Federation continue to show a reluctance to fulfill the previously reached agreements.
