Militants launched 19 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

The tensest situation was observed in Donetsk direction, where militants used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to shell Ukrainian strongholds in the industrial area of Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk). In addition, ATO troops came under machine gun fire outside Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk), Mayorske (45km north of Donetsk), Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), Nevelske (18km north-west of Donetsk).

In Mariupol direction, illegal armed formations fired at Ukrainian positions on the outskirts of Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), using heavy machine guns. In addition, terrorists launched 82mm mortars near Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol).

In Luhansk direction, ceasefire was observed.
