In Mariupol direction, militants used grenade launchers and small arms to fire at Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Novotroitske (32km south of Donetsk) and Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk). Ukrainian strongholds near Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk) and Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk) came under 82mm fire. Illegal armed formations also shelled Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), using 120mm mortars.
In Donetsk direction, Russian-backed militants used Grad rocket launcher systems and 120mm mortars to launch attacks on Ukrainian strongholds in southern outskirts of Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk). As a result, one civilian was wounded, four private residences were destroyed completely and over dozen residential buildings were damaged. Later, the enemy again fired at the same area, using 152mm artillery.
In Luhansk direction, terrorists shelled ATO troops near Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk) and Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk), using heavy machine guns. In addition, Ukrainian servicemen came under grenade launcher and small arms outside Valuiske (20km north-east of Luhansk) and Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk).
