SBU detains Irpin builder for registering Starlink terminals on orders from Russian intelligence
According to the SBU, it was established that, in exchange for promises of easy money, the suspect initially registered a terminal in his own name and passed the relevant account details to his handler, Ukrinform reports.
Investigators documented that the agent later secretly registered two more Starlink terminals in the names of his colleague and the colleague's wife.

After that, the suspect planned to involve another 20 acquaintances to verify additional terminals.
SBU officers detained the agent at a construction site in Irpin. During searches at his residence, several smartphones were found, which he used to communicate with Russian operatives and recruit proxy individuals to register Starlink terminals.
According to case materials, the suspect came to the attention of Russian intelligence while searching for quick earnings in Telegram channels.
SBU investigators have served the agent with a notice of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).
The suspect is currently in custody, without the possibility of posting bail. He faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
Earlier, in the Zakarpattia region, the SBU detained a local resident who, on orders from Russian operatives, attempted to register Starlink satellite terminals.
