Terrorists have shot down a Ukrainian Su-24M military aircraft in Luhansk region.
KYIV, August 21 /Ukrinform/. Terrorists shot down a Ukrainian Su-24M military aircraft in Luhansk region on Wednesday.
Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) information and analytical center spokesman Andriy Lysenko said this at a briefing on Thursday.
"Near the village of Novosvitlivka in Luhansk region terrorists shot down a Su-24M plane of the Ukrainian Air Force that was returning after the fulfillment of a task. Both pilots ejected," Lysenko said.
Lysenko said earlier that militants shot down a Su-25 fighter aircraft in Luhansk region on August 20 and that the fate of the pilots was unknown.
