In temporarily occupied Crimea, a large electrical substation caught fire overnight on May 8 following a drone attack. A fire was also reported on the grounds of the Brom chemical plant, and a Russian military unit in Simferopol was reportedly hit.
Unmanned aerial vehicles operated by the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine Azov are taking control of the skies over the temporarily occupied city of Mariupol in the Donetsk region, currently patrolling roads up to 160 kilometers from the frontline.
