Injury toll from Russian attack on Odesa rises to 26, nine killed

At least 26 people were injured in Odesa as a result of an overnight Russian attack on April 16, with reports of people still missing.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, reported this on Telegram.

"Twenty-six people have been injured. Rescuers and police continue their work, as there are reports of missing persons," he said.

Ukraine's Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko and Head of the State Emergency Service Andrii Danyk are currently at the scene of the strike.

Earlier reports said that nine people had been killed and 23 injured in Odesa following the overnight Russian attack.
