Eight Ukrainian civilians have returned home from Russian captivity as part of the latest prisoner exchange, alongside Ukrainian military personnel.

Throughout the day, 134 combat clashes took place on the front. In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian forces made 40 attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses near 17 settlements.
A strike UAV crew from the Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 39th Separate Coastal Defense Brigade of the 30th Marine Corps of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine raised the national flag of Ukraine on the territory of Kherson region temporarily occupied by Russian forces.
On Ukraine’s National Flag Day, drone operators of the RUGBY TEAM battalion from the 129th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade raised Ukrainian flags over the villages of Hornal and Huyevo in Sudzha district of Russia’s Kursk region — territories historically belonging to Ukrainian Slobozhanshchyna.
Fighters of the 37th Separate Marine Brigade, together with the 214th Separate Assault Battalion OPFOR, halted enemy advances and re-established control over the settlement of Zelenyi Hai in Donetsk region.

In Kherson, a 69-year-old local man was fatally wounded as a result of Russian shelling of the city’s Central District.
In Russia’s Rostov region, the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery — one of the largest in the country’s south — has been burning for a third day following an attack by Ukrainian drones.
Since the beginning of the day, 71 combat engagements have occurred between Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian troops, with fighting still ongoing in seven sectors of the front.
In Komyshany district of Kherson region, a school and an administrative building were damaged as a result of Russian drone attacks.
