Russia's capital has once again come under attack, with fuel storage tanks still burning at the Moscow Oil Refinery.

As reported by Ukrinform, Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) under Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council Andrii Kovalenko made the statement on Telegram.

"Moscow remains under attack – a reality that has become routine because Putin refuses to end the war. Storage tanks at the Moscow Oil Refinery are still ablaze, and thick black smoke is covering the sky," Kovalenko said.

He added: "Russians, thank Putin and yourselves for voting for him. Putin is no longer the guarantor of your security. He has brought war to every Russian city, including Moscow."

Earlier, on June 16, Ukraine's Special Operations Forces, in coordination with the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), and the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, carried out a strike on the Moscow Oil Refinery.
