Zelensky: Russia launches nearly 1,750 drones, 1,530 guided aerial bombs, and 39 missiles at Ukraine in one week
According to Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky reported this on Facebook.
“Over the past week, Russia has attacked our country thousands of times – the enemy used nearly 1,750 attack drones, 1,530 guided aerial bombs, and 39 missiles against our people. Civilian infrastructure came under attack – energy facilities and residential buildings. Our warriors manage to neutralize most of the targets,” the president stated.
However, he said that more protection is needed, and it is needed every day.
“First and foremost, these are air defense missiles, and therefore contributions and deliveries within the PURL initiative are key – and I thank everyone who continues their support. Sanctions against Russia and its accomplices must be tightened further. Everything that helps the Russian Federation finance and continue this war must be blocked. Today, there will be negotiations with European partners on each of these elements. Thank you to everyone who helps Ukraine,” Zelensky emphasized.
As reported by Ukrinform, Air Defense Forces destroyed 98 of the 117 drones used by Russian troops to attack Ukraine since the evening of March 7. Drones and ballistic missiles hit 11 locations.
