Zelensky: Russia prepares new attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure

In an evening video address, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that, according to intelligence reports, Russia is preparing new attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure.

As reported by Ukrinform, this was stated in a video address published on the President's website.

“We know that the Russians are not going to stop their attacks. That is a fact. They are preparing new attacks. On infrastructure. Intelligence is providing the relevant information. Therefore, everyone whose job or service is to protect Ukraine from attacks must be as focused in the spring, now, as they were in the winter,” Zelensky said.

According to him, every threat must be responded to and Russian targets must be shot down as much as possible.

"The situation in the Middle East shows how difficult it is to provide 100% protection against missiles and Shahed drones. Even in the Gulf countries, which have better air defense systems than those provided to us by our partners so far, and have a larger number of systems, they still cannot shoot down all ballistic missiles. There are also Shaheds that have not been stopped by air defense systems in the region. Everyone now sees that our experience in defense is largely irreplaceable," Zelensky emphasized.

He added that Ukraine is ready to share this experience and help those nations that helped it this winter and throughout the war.

"Europe must still provide itself with real power, a real ability to defend its sky, its land, and its sea from any type of attack. In particular, this requires building sufficient air defense production capacity—both against drones and ballistic missiles," Zelensky emphasized.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russia launched 738 missiles, over 14,600 guided aerial bombs, and nearly 19,000 drones at Ukraine over the winter.
