Fire breaks out near electrical substation outside Luhansk after explosions – media

On the northern outskirts of temporarily occupied Luhansk, in an area where a major energy facility is located, a fire has been observed.

According to Ukrinform, the Astra Telegram channel stated this in a post.

"An electrical substation was likely attacked near occupied Luhansk. Black smoke is being observed by residents of the Kamiankobrodskyi district in the north of the city. Local channels also report a possible hit on a critical infrastructure facility. It is noted that some residents have complained about disruptions in electricity supply," the report says.

Earlier, monitoring channels reported that an air raid alert was declared in occupied Luhansk, explosions were heard, and air defense systems were operating.

"The LPR authorities have not yet commented on the attack," the report adds.

As Ukrinform previously reported, water supply was cut off across almost the entire territory of the temporarily occupied Luhansk Region.
