SSU drones strike Russian oil pumping station in Perm, over 1,500 km from Ukraine
This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
According to the statement, this night SSU operatives carried out a strike on the Perm linear production dispatch station in line with tasks set by the President of Ukraine.
The facility belongs to JSC Transneft and is a strategically important hub of Russia’s main oil transportation system. Through this station, oil is distributed in four directions, including to the Perm oil refinery.

As a result of the drone attack, a large fire broke out at the oil pumping station. According to preliminary information, nearly all oil storage tanks are burning.
“The SSU systematically reduces Russia’s export potential and undermines its economic foundation, which finances the war against Ukraine. Strikes on oil logistics create a shortage of resources for the Russian military-industrial complex, disrupt fuel supply chains for the army, and force the enemy to spend significant resources on restoring and protecting oil infrastructure,” said acting SSU head Yevhenii Khmara.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, on the night of Wednesday, April 29, drones also attacked an oil refinery in Orsk, Russia, and an industrial facility in the Perm region.
