Drone attack causes damage in non-residential area of Obolonskyi district in Kyiv

In Kyiv, damage was recorded in a non-residential area of the Obolonskyi district as a result of a nighttime drone attack.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, on Telegram.

“We are assessing the consequences of a nighttime drone attack on the capital. In the Obolonskyi district, there is damage in a non-residential area, and equipment has been destroyed,” he said.

According to Tkachenko, there were no casualties.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Air Defense Forces destroyed 96 of the 115 drones used by the Russians to attack Ukraine on the evening of January 16. Sixteen strike UAVs were recorded hitting 11 locations, and debris from downed drones was found at two locations.
