Ukraine receives UAH 21.52B in medical humanitarian aid during war period – Ministry of Health

During the period of martial law, Ukraine has received 18,454 tonnes of medical humanitarian aid worth UAH 21.52 billion.

The Ministry of Health stated this on its website, Ukrinform reports.

In particular, the aid included medicines (440,768,449 units), medical devices, PPE and components (260,924,210 units), medical equipment and IT items (36,099 units), medical and other vehicles (987 units), 876 generators, instruments (139,072 units), medical furniture and inventory (3,026 units), body armor and helmets (4,815 units), mobile buildings and hospitals (9 units), Starlink terminals (595 units), as well as another 17,289,499 units of other assistance.

Medical humanitarian aid was provided by international and non-governmental organizations, the business sector, and the governments of the following countries: the United States, Italy, Luxembourg, the Czech Republic, Germany, France, Austria, Malaysia, Slovakia, Denmark, Spain, India, Switzerland, Poland, Latvia, Sweden, South Korea, Pakistan, Finland, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Canada, Norway, Azerbaijan, the Netherlands, Romania, Israel, Serbia, Kenya, Moldova, Argentina, Slovenia, Hungary, the UAE, Turkey, Japan, Mexico, Estonia, Australia, Bulgaria, China, Ireland, Singapore, Brazil, Cyprus, Greece, and Indonesia.

The Ministry of Health emphasized that humanitarian aid is distributed not only to healthcare facilities under its authority, but also to municipal and departmental institutions, including those subordinated to the Security and Defense Forces. Aid is distributed based on priorities. First of all, it is directed to meet the needs of medical facilities in or near combat zones, as well as those treating the wounded. In addition, facilities in regions with large numbers of internally displaced persons are also a focus.

As reported earlier, Ukraine's Minister of Defense Denys Shmyhal stated that in 2025 Ukraine managed to attract more than $45 billion in international security assistance, the highest figure since the start of the full-scale war.
