Parts of Sumy left without power after Russian strikes

Parts of the city of Sumy are without electricity following Russian attacks, and scheduled outages remain in effect.

The local energy company Sumyoblenergo said this in a post on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Due to Russia's military aggression, part of Sumy is without power. In addition, hourly scheduled outages remain in effect," the company said.

Energy workers are working to restore the power supply, the company added.

On November 30, Russian forces targeted energy infrastructure in the Sumy region, causing disruptions to electricity and water supplies in the Sumy district.
