In Zaporizhzhia, victim toll increases to 15

In Zaporizhzhia, the number of people injured as a result of Russia’s overnight combined attack has risen to 15.

According to Ukrinform, the Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, announced this on Telegram.

“Unfortunately, the number of victims is increasing. Fifteen people have been injured in the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia. Everyone is receiving medical assistance,” he wrote.

On a television broadcast, Secretary of the Zaporizhzhia City Council, Rehina Kharchenko, stated that this was one of the most massive attacks on the city. The enemy launched eight missiles and 20 UAVs toward Zaporizhzhia.

“Two large industrial enterprises sustained damage, as well as residential buildings. In the Dniprovskyi district, a dormitory housing about 200 people was damaged,” she said.

Search and rescue operations are currently underway. It has been confirmed that one person remains trapped under the rubble. In total, there are four locations in the city affected by the attack. Relevant emergency units and services are working at each site.

As of this morning, more than 130 people have contacted the Department of Social Protection of the Zaporizhzhia City Council, including about 20 belonging to vulnerable categories. Three people lost their homes and turned to shelters seeking temporary accommodation.

As reported by Ukrinform, during the night, the enemy struck Zaporizhzhia with eight missiles and launched at least 20 UAVs. A dormitory was destroyed, and one person may still be under the rubble. Earlier reports indicated 11 injured, including six children under the age of six.
