Drone attack hits Kharkiv police on evacuation duty: four wounded

In Kharkiv region, four police officers from the Kupiansk District Police were wounded while carrying out evacuation efforts.

The Kharkiv Police reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“On September 26, 2025, while carrying out mandatory evacuation efforts in Kindrashivska rural community of Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region, police officers came under enemy fire,” the statement reads.

According to the police, a Russian FPV drone struck the road surface near a police service vehicle. The explosion wounded four officers and damaged the official vehicle.

The police added that the injured officers were hospitalized and received initial medical care.

As reported, more than 200 residents left Kupiansk community during September.
