War update: 124 clashes on frontline, 44 attacks repelled in Pokrovsk sector

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 22:00 on Friday, September 19, according to Ukrinform.

“A total of 124 combat encounters have taken place since the start of the day… Russian troops conducted 55 airstrikes, dropping 98 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, they deployed 2,032 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,475 artillery and rocket strikes on our troops and settlements,” the report states.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Ukrainian forces repelled seven assaults, with one encounter ongoing. The enemy launched seven airstrikes with 21 guided bombs and 133 artillery attacks, including three from multiple rocket launchers.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the enemy attempted five assaults near Vovchansk, Fyholivka, and Odradne, with one battle ongoing.

In the Kupiansk sector, three attacks occurred near Stepova Novoselivka and Pishchane; Ukrainian troops repelled two, one battle continues.

In the Lyman sector, Russian forces launched 15 attacks near Novomykhailivka, Shandryholove, Kolodiazi, Torske, Zarichne, and toward Stavky, Novoselivka, Serednie; four encounters are underway.

In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled three assaults near Vyimka and Dronivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, two unsuccessful enemy attempts to breach defenses near Stupochky.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian forces attacked 16 times near Toretsk, Shcherbynivka, Poltavka, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, Ivanopillia, and Stepanivka; four clashes are ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk sector, enemy attempted to advance 47 times near Volodymyrivka, Nikanorivka, Rodynske, Novoekonomichne, Promin, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Molodetske, Udachne, Dachne, Chervonyi Lyman, Novopavlivka; three engagements are ongoing. Ukrainian forces neutralized 195 enemy troops here, including 124 irrecoverable losses. They also destroyed 13 vehicles, five drones, damaged one artillery system, a UAV control post, and eight enemy shelters.

In the Novopavlivka sector, the Russians attempted 28 breaches near Filiia, Voskresenka, Berezove, Maliivka, Novoivanivka, Piddubne, Zelenyi Hai, Tolstyi, Sichneve, Novomykolaivka, Olhivske; six clashes continue.

In the Huliaipole sector, no assaults were reported, but an airstrike with unguided missiles hit Zaliznychne.

In the Orikhiv sector, two attacks occurred near Kamianske and toward Stepnohirsk.

In the Prydniprovske sector, Russian forces carried out two unsuccessful advances near Antonivskyi Bridge; an airstrike hit Olhivka.

Other sectors saw no significant changes.

The General Staff highlighted the 34th Separate Coastal Defense Brigade for effectively holding back the enemy.
