In the Kyiv region, Russian forces attacked rescuers who were extinguishing a fire caused by drone strikes.
Ukraine's State Emergency Service announced this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

On the night of September 15-16, a fire broke out at a parking lot of a shopping center as a result of a Russian drone attack.

While firefighters were working to extinguish the blaze, Russian forces struck the site again, damaging two fire-and-rescue vehicles.

The fire has since been extinguished. Thirteen rescuers and three units of equipment were involved in the response.
