Russian missile strike on village in Sumy region injures 12 harvest workers
According to Ukrinform, Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, announced this on Telegram.
He stated that late on September 14, Russian forces launched a missile strike on the outskirts of a village in the Boromlia community, targeting "a peaceful field where agricultural machinery was working."
The attack injured people gathering the harvest. Eleven men were hospitalized, one of them in serious condition. Tractors and combine harvesters were also damaged, Hryhorov added.


According to the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office, 12 people were injured and around 30 pieces of agricultural equipment were damaged as a result of the strike on an agricultural enterprise in the region.
"According to the investigation, on September 14, 2025, at around 23:00, the enemy likely used two missiles to strike the territory of an agricultural enterprise in the Boromlia community of the Okhtyrka district, Sumy region," the agency said.
The Okhtyrka District Prosecutor's Office has launched a pre-trial investigation into the war crime (Part 1, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
