War update: 195 combat engagements on front lines over past day, 60 of them in Pokrovsk sector

As reported by Ukrinform, the update was published on the General Staff’s official Facebook page, reflecting battlefield situation as of 08:00 on Friday, September 12

Russian forces launched 82 airstrikes, dropping 147 guided bombs, and carried out 4,919 shelling attacks, including 111 with multiple launch rocket systems. They also deployed 5,960 kamikaze drones across various frontline areas.

Airstrikes targeted settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region (Bilohirya, Zaliznychne) and the Kherson region (Odradokamianka). In response, Ukrainian aviation, missile units, and artillery struck six concentrations of enemy personnel and equipment, a drone command post, a heavy flamethrower system, and five Russian artillery positions.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyana and Kursk sectors, five combat clashes were reported, along with 14 airstrikes, 31 guided bombs, and 190 artillery attacks.

The Southern Slobozhanshchyana sector saw 13 engagements near Vovchansk, Ambarne, and toward Odradne.

In the Kupiansk sector, Russian forces launched seven assaults, which were repelled near Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, Zahryzive, Holubivka, and toward Kurylivka.

The Lyman sector witnessed 21 attacks as Russian troops attempted to advance near Hrekivka, Torske, Shandryholove, Drobysheve, Kolodiazi, and toward Yampil, Serednie, and Stavky.

In the Siversk sector, 18 assaults were recorded near Hryhorivka, Serebrianka, Dronivka, and Vyiimka.

The Kramatorsk sector saw two clashes near Stupochky, while the Toretsk sector experienced 12 attacks near Oleksandro-Shultyne, Katerynivka, Rusyn Yar, Mayak, Sofiivka, and Poltavka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 60 offensive actions near Shakhove, Volodymyrivka, Mykolaivka, Molodetske, Novoukrainka, Promin, Nykanorivka, Mayak, Novoekonomichne, Rodynske, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Muravka, Dachne, Filiia, and toward Pokrovsk.

The Novopavlivka sector saw 33 Russian attacks repelled near Piddubne, Yalta, Sosnivka, Ivanivka, Filiia, Zelenyi Hai, Tolstoi, Maliivka, Komyshuvakha, Olhivske, Poltavka, and toward Novoivanivka.

No offensive actions were reported in the Huliaipole sector.

In the Orikhiv sector, one Russian assault was recorded near Kamianske.

In the Prydnoprovske sector, Russian forces attempted two unsuccessful advances toward Ukrainian fortifications.

No signs of offensive group formations were observed in the Volyn and Polissia sectors.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, since February 24, 2022, total Russian combat losses have reached approximately 1,092,780 personnel, including 890 casualties in the past 24 hours alone.
