Russia launched about 415 drones and more than 40 cruise and ballistic missiles overnight - Zelensky

During a massive nighttime attack, the Russians launched about 415 drones of various types and more than 40 cruise and ballistic missiles at Ukraine. Fifteen regions were under attack.

President Volodymyr Zelensky reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Rescuers are currently working in Volochysk, Khmelnytskyi region, where Russians struck a regular sewing workshop with a missile. As of now, three people are known to have been injured. This is just one of the places targeted by today's massive Russian strike: about 415 drones of various types and more than 40 cruise and ballistic missiles. Fifteen of our regions were under attack," the head of state wrote.

Zelensky reported that one person was killed as a result of the shelling in the Zhytomyr region. The president expressed his condolences to the family and friends of the victim.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Air Defehttps://www.ukrinform.ua/tag-oboronanse Forces destroyed 386 drones and 27 missiles with which Russian invaders attacked Ukraine on the evening of September 9.

In total, the Air Force's radio-technical troops escorted 458 air attack vehicles: 415 Shahed-type strike UAVs, Gerbera and other types of drones, 42 cruise/aircraft missiles Kh-101/Kalibr/ Kh-59 (69) cruise missiles, and Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles.
