Russians attack Sumy region community, killing woman and wounding seven including child

In the Putyvl community of the Sumy region, a woman was killed and seven people, including a 9-year-old child, were injured as a result of an attack by Russian troops.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional State Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, on Telegram.

“As a result of an enemy attack on the outskirts of the Putyvl community, one person was killed and others were wounded,” he wrote.

According to the official, a 9-year-old child is among the victims.

The wounded were hospitalized, and doctors are providing them with the necessary assistance, Hryhorov said, adding that all the circumstances are being clarified.

The head of the Putyvl City Council, Kostiantyn Havrylychuk, specified that as a result of the enemy attack on the community's territory, seven people were wounded and one woman was killed.

As reported by Ukrinform, on September 6, an enemy drone hit a car in the Krasnopilia community in Sumy region, injuring a civilian.
