122 clashes on frontline, AFU neutralizes over 180 occupiers in Pokrovsk sector

The update as of 22:00 on Saturday, July 26, was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"In total, 122 combat clashes have taken place since the beginning of this day. The invaders launched one missile and 52 air strikes, using 27 missiles and dropping 93 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the Russians used 1,329 loitering munitions and carried out 3,550 shelling attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas," the report said.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Ukrainian units repelled nine attacks by the occupiers today. The enemy carried out eight air strikes, dropping 17 guided aerial bombs, and carried out 270 artillery strikes, three of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.

Since the beginning of the day, in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the enemy has attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders near Starytsia and in the Vovchansk area.

In the Kupiansk sector, enemy units carried out five assaults, trying to break through to the positions of our defenders in the areas of Radkivka, Kupiansk, and Zahryzove.

In the Lyman sector, Russian invaders have attacked Ukrainian positions 11 times since the beginning of the day near the settlements of Novyi Myr, Zelenyi Hai, Hrekivka, Shandryholove, Kolodiazi, Karpivka, and Torske.

In the Siversk sector, the enemy attempted to break through twice in the Hryhorivka area.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy unsuccessfully attacked the positions of the Defense Forces once.

In the Toretsk sector, the Russians attacked the positions of the Defense Forces in the Toretsk area once.

Since the beginning of the day, in the Pokrovsk sector, Russians have attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses 55 times in the areas of Poltavka, Volodymyrivka, Novotorezk, Novoekonomichne, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Pokrovsk, Zvirove, Udachne, Kotlyne, Novopavlivka, Oleksiivka, and toward Novopidhorodnie. Fighting continues in five locations.

Defense Forces are holding back enemy assaults, and the enemy is suffering significant losses. Today, 182 occupiers were neutralized in this sector, 123 of whom were killed. Ukrainian defenders destroyed an armored combat vehicle, two cars, one buggy, six motorcycles, two cannons, 12 unmanned aerial vehicles, two satellite communication terminals, a UAV control antenna, and one ammunition depot. One car, four motorcycles, four artillery systems, and seven personnel shelters were also significantly damaged.

In the Novopavlivka sector, Ukrainian units stopped ten enemy attacks on the positions of our troops near the settlements of Temyrivka, Tolstoi, Novokhatske, Myrne, Maliivka, and Voskresenka.

In the Huliaipole sector, enemy aircraft struck Bilohiria.

In the Orikhiv sector, the invaders attempted to advance in the Kamianske area.

In the Prydniprovske sector, the enemy made eight unsuccessful attempts to advance, suffered losses, and retreated. Odradokamianka was hit by an air strike.

“Today, we commend the soldiers of the 406th Separate Artillery Brigade named after Corporal General Oleksii Almazov, who are effectively countering the enemy,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine concluded.
