One woman killed and another wounded in Russian attacks in Sumy Region

According to Ukrinform, Oleh Hryhorov, Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.

“Today, after 6 p.m., Russian troops attacked the Znob-Novhorodske community. As a result of an enemy strike by a combat UAV on one of the settlements, a 43-year-old woman was killed,” the report said.

Later, during artillery shelling, a 60-year-old resident of the village was wounded.

The woman is being transported to the hospital and provided with medical assistance.

“The constant threat of repeated attacks in the border area significantly complicates the work of emergency services,” Hryhorov emphasized.

As reported by Ukrinform, a 14-year-old teenager was killed in the Sumy Region after stepping on an explosive device.
